Sports injuries may result from:

Common Sports Injuries Include:
- Rotator Cuff Syndromes, Bursitis and Tendonitis

- Shoulder, Hip, Knee and Ankle Joint Sprains
- Quadricep, Calf and Achilles Tendon Tears
- Plantar Fasciitis/Heel Spurs

Treatment:
- Education: ice vs. heat. Identify and correct training errors. Appropriate stability products such as orthotics, taping, braces and compression sleeves.
- Electrotherapy: Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy, Laser, Ultrasound, Interferential and Tens are used to decrease pain, inflammation, and swelling and to stimulate the rate and quality of healing. They also assist in the breakdown of scar tissue.
- Manual Therapy: Spinal and joint mobilization techniques to correct joint alignment, improve joint mechanics and prevent compensatory stress.
- Massage Therapy Techniques: To promote healing, regain muscle length and release scar tissue.
- Acupuncture: is effective in regaining tissue elasticity as well as in the release of scar tissue.
- Exercise Rehabilitation: progressive exercise program that includes core stability, strength, flexibility, balance, agility, functional strength and plyometrics.
- Taping:
Can assist in supporting the injured area thereby decreasing pain, spasm and swelling. It can also help to improve pain-free mobility and function in the healing stages of the injury. - Shockwave Therapy:
Shockwave Treatment is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that involves the delivery of high-energy sound waves to affected areas of the body to trigger the body’s own natural repair mechanisms and stimulate healing. It is a safe and effective treatment option. The recovery period is shorter than traditional invasive surgery and the procedure eliminates many of the risks associated with traditional surgery. Generally, 3 treatments are advocated with 1 week between treatments. - Products:
